Paradip Port Recognized as Green Hydrogen Hub under National Green Hydrogen Mission.

Paradip, October 2025: Paradip Port Authority (PPA) has been officially recognized as a Green Hydrogen Hub under the National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM) of the Government of India.

  • Paradip Port Authority is now designated as a Green Hydrogen Hub, positioning it at the forefront of India’s clean energy and decarbonization efforts.
  • The recognition comes under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) guidelines, enabling projects in the hub to access incentives and benefits from Central and State Government schemes.
  • Green Hydrogen Hubs serve as integrated centers for hydrogen production, storage, transportation, and end-use applications.
  • Paradip Port’s strategic location and existing infrastructure make it ideal for supporting large-scale hydrogen production and export.
